The Centre for Eurasian Studies (ZEUS) is an interdisciplinary, university-wide facility for research and consultation, provided by a cooperation of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences with the Rectorate of the University of Rostock, as well as the Rostock International House.

The main goal of ZEUS is to intensify the multilateral exchange of students, as well as academic and non-academic staff across the Eurasian region. In connection with this exchange the parties involved are working on common focus points regarding teaching and research, which are especially applicable to further the scientific, economic, cultural and social development of all active parties.
